Because every piece of material we use is recycled or upcycled. No trees have been felled to make our products. Our products are inexpensive, and many are designed to be configurable into as many different structures as your imagination allows.

We scrounge all manner of used (typically quite beaten-up) wooden pallets from commercial and industrial areas. We always politely ask before carting off any material (we haven’t been knocked back yet!) The type of wood is usually pine. We then mill this wood into a finished (“dressed”) state ready for assembling into cubes and shelves.

We typically leave our wood products sanded and smooth, as we prefer to let the grain of the wood show. Depending on the application we will apply a eco-friendly natural oil. We do not use wood that has any chemical treatments applied nor do we apply any ourselves, so they are perfectly safe.

We did for three years! But we have closed it for the meantime and are running the business from home. We still apply the same craftsmanship and care to everything we do.
